Biography

A difficult art learned instantly

Annoyed by the disguised Zhang Xuan's confidence, Jiao offers him the notoriously difficult Grand Constellation Finger expecting failure. Zhang instead reproduces and improves its force almost immediately, overturning the benchmark Jiao built through seven years of effort. Jiao later joins the combat masters influenced by Zhang's teaching and is remembered carrying a fly swatter during their unusual training. (Chapters 1,126–1,127, 1,176–1,197, and 1,235)
