Han Qiong

Han Qiong is a popular Hongtian Academy teacher, close friend of Shen Bi Ru, and an apprentice beast tamer. (Chapters 214–261)

Biography

Observing Zhang Xuan's rise

Han joins Shen Bi Ru to watch the Teacher Evaluation, initially predicting that Lu Xun's tailored matchups will defeat Zhang Xuan's students. Wang Ying's restored leg and new movement techniques force her to revise that assessment. Han later studies at the Beast Hall but remains an apprentice after years of effort; Shen Bi Ru therefore anticipates her disbelief when Zhang Xuan becomes a 2-star beast tamer during what began as a simple attempt to borrow a mount. Appearance and personality

At twenty-five, Han is described as a beautiful, mature woman with many admirers. She is playful with Shen Bi Ru yet serious and perceptive when evaluating students. (Chapters 214–219)

Abilities and cultivation

Her beast-taming study has earned apprentice status but not full qualification. She also accurately recognizes Wang Ying's improved leg and movement arts. (Chapters 217 and 241–261)
