Bai Xun

Bai Xun is a martial-minded young noble first encountered at Lu Chen's residence and later seen as a combat master of Qianyun Empire. His scattered appearances show the maturation of an impulsive admirer of Huang Yu into a recognized fist specialist. (Chapters 48–207 and 1,197)

Biography

From jealous youth to combat master

Bai Xun initially treats Zhang Xuan as a romantic rival for Huang Yu's attention, mocking his learning before witnessing the young teacher's extraordinary judgment in painting and appraisal. He nevertheless respects Lu Chen's household and joins Huang Yu in drawing Zhang Xuan into Tianxuan's scholarly circles. Much later, Bai Xun reappears as a Saint 2-dan primary-stage genius of Qianyun Combat Master Hall's Fist Division. He confidently challenges Qingyuan's combat masters, only to lose to Shi Hao's unconventional training-derived movements. (Chapters 48–207 and 1,197)

Appearance and personality

He first appears as a white-clothed young gentleman, proud and openly jealous but capable of respectful conduct toward elders. As a combat master he is well built, direct, and confident in his fists. (Chapters 48–54 and 1,197)

Abilities and cultivation

Bai Xun specializes in fist arts and reaches Saint 2-dan primary stage. His reputation for powerful steel fists does not make him unbeatable: Shi Hao counters him with movements refined through menial but targeted training. (Chapters 1,197)
