Biography

Knowledge Exchange and the Base’s Disappearance

The Jolly Cannibal cooperates with Nick because their interests temporarily align: Nick can supply corpses and conceal him, while exposure to the Sun would mean destruction. Hoping eventually to become an Eternal, he teaches Nick the Enlightened language and then compresses years of engineering, materials, weapons, and energy instruction into their work together. That alliance ends under coercion when Nick suppresses him to his core and demands the erasure of memories about Nick, the bases, and the repositories. The Jolly Cannibal transfers knowledge to the Pure One first, but Nick then alerts the Sun; Rising Star Base and everyone within vanish, and the source does not clarify whether the Jolly Cannibal survives elsewhere. Appearance and personality
