Hera Marion is Solace's Chief Zephyx Extractor and one of Nick's senior professional counterparts in Crimson City. She helps maintain cooperation between manufacturers and later keeps operational leadership when Solace joins the organization created from Dark Dream's expansion. (Chapters 210–212, 314, and 504)

Biography

Solace's chief and an alliance with Nick

Hera meets Nick as a poised CZE during the city's manufacturer gathering and later hosts him at Solace. Curious why such a young chief has advanced so quickly, she invites him to demonstrate himself against the Blood Wolf while she controls the Specter and keeps the test from becoming lethal. Nick's unusual combat performance deepens her interest without revealing his secrets. The encounter makes their companies' relationship personal as well as commercial: Hera respects competence, while Nick gains a senior ally willing to test rather than dismiss him. Continuity through the merger

When Nick prepares to leave ordinary company work for Aegis, Hera welcomes him back, congratulates his expected advancement, and evaluates his restructuring proposal with practical skepticism. He explicitly leaves her as Chief Zephyx Extractor, and she accepts the arrangement after questioning the facilities, relocation, and unusual future plan. Her continued authority gives Solace's people institutional continuity while Nick becomes a Liaison instead of their daily commander.
