Biography

High Noble student and a broken Familiar bond

Christa begins as a blonde High Noble student accustomed to treating status as proof of superiority. Her Goblin Familiar is intelligent, but she responds to his resistance with control and contempt rather than partnership. The study group and Professor Miranda’s lessons repeatedly expose the flaw in that behavior: intelligent Familiars interpret abuse, remember it, and cannot be reduced to obedient spell batteries merely because a Witch summoned them. The Academy rebellion turns that personal failure into catastrophe. Christa loses her Familiar and much of her aura, then becomes a target of purists connected to her own family politics. When Wolfe finds her injured and ambushed, she no longer has the power or social certainty that supported her earlier arrogance.
