Gold Crow God Axes

The Gold Crow God Axes, also called the Gold Crow Legendary Axes, are Crow's ancestral paired war axes and the legendary weapons of the Gold Crow Tribe. They are physical heirlooms rather than Crow's Consolidated Equipment and should not be confused with Zhou Weiqing's Dual God Strength Hammers.

History

Ancestral weapons displayed

Crow first produces the axes while the Fei Li Battle Team is clearing a route through a hill. She identifies them as an heirloom passed down from her ancestors and says that only members of the Gold Crow Tribe can use them. Their combined weight is 1,393 jin, yet she spins them like light branches and uses them to tear into the hill, demonstrating why a three-Jeweled warrior can serve among the team's main members. (Chapter 66)

Tribe weapon in battle

Against Han Tianyou, Crow leaps into a coordinated group attack and brings the axes down in a crossed strike together with her Consolidated Equipment Chains. The Heavenly King's counter sends the axes back into her and wounds her, establishing that their mass and strength do not overcome an extreme cultivation gap. She still carries the weapons after helping escort the Gold Crow and Berserker Tribes through a prolonged battle. (Chapters 138 and 159)

After the tribes settle with the Peerless forces, Crow's legendary axes become the blueprint for the uniform Frozen Steel war axes issued to Gold Crow warriors. During the next Heavenly Jewel Tournament, her expanding fire-based powers lead Zhou to suspect that her unusual Skills are connected to the ancestral weapons and that the axes release greater strength as she herself grows stronger. (Chapters 188 and 216)

Abilities and properties

  • Mass and construction: Each black broadaxe is almost six chi long, with a door-like head, a thick spike at the tip, dark-gold patterns on the blade, and a cold aura. The left weighs 612 jin and the right 781 jin. (Chapter 66)
  • Tribal restriction: Crow states that only Gold Crow Tribe members can use the ancestral weapons. The corpus does not explain the exact mechanism behind this restriction. (Chapter 66)
  • Physical destructive power: In Crow's hands, the axes turn her enormous natural strength into crushing, chopping attacks powerful enough to excavate rock and to anchor falling crossed strikes. Their performance depends heavily on her physique and cultivation. (Chapters 66 and 138)
  • Growth-linked power: During Crow's tournament battle, Zhou infers that her unfamiliar fire, control, and strength effects may be connected to the axes and observes that the legendary weapon can release more strength as she advances. This is presented as his informed inference, not a complete account of named axe techniques. (Chapter 216)
  • Limits: The axes are not Consolidated Equipment, and the source does not give them a summoning aura or automatic defense. A Heavenly King can repel them and turn their momentum back on Crow. (Chapters 66 and 138)
