Demon God Sword

The Demon God Sword is the divine weapon manifested by the Demon God's projection when Zhou Weiqing summons it against the Elven Empress's Nature Goddess. It is not Zhou's owned equipment: the sword appears outside his control, consumes his energy, delivers one overwhelming attack, and disappears with the projection.

History

A divine weapon answers provocation

During Zhou's clash with the Elven Empress, the projected Demon God first cuts through the Nature Goddess's attacks with grey light blades. When her scepter becomes a binding whip, the Demon God reacts with its own anger rather than Zhou's and calls a long sword through the fabric of the realm. The Nature Goddess immediately recognizes it as the Demon God's weapon and fears it because the Demon God stands above her in divine hierarchy. (Chapter 775)

The hovering sword breaks the scepter-whip merely by appearing, covers the surroundings in a suffocating grey demonic aura, and strikes too quickly for Zhou to inspect. The Elven Empress's Nature Goddess form survives only by sealing itself in a great life crystal and drawing simultaneous support from twelve elders. The impact breaks the summoned goddess form, injures and depletes the defenders, and leaves Zhou and his companions severely drained before the sword and Demon God projection vanish. Reputation and imitation

The sword's demonstrated attack shapes later assessments of Zhou's strength: the Elven Empress trusts him against another Heavenly Emperor partly because she remembers that only the elders' support let her withstand it, while Elf Tribe elders hesitate to confront his companions after witnessing the weapon. Later, Wu Yunyue's Demonic Emperor Set forms a grey crystalline sword that Zhou recognizes as an imitation of the Demon God Sword rather than the divine weapon itself. Abilities and properties

• Divine manifestation: The sword belongs to the Demon God and is called into the world by that deity's projection. It slices open the realm when appearing and hovers above the projection rather than being wielded by Zhou. (Chapter 775)
• Hierarchical suppression: Its arrival alone breaks the Nature Goddess's transformed scepter and blankets air and ground in a chilling grey aura that suppresses even Zhou. The Nature Goddess identifies the weapon as superior to her own divine implement. (Chapter 775)
• Overwhelming strike: The attack is perceived only as a grey shadow touching the Nature Goddess's protective crystal. Blocking it requires the Elven Empress in her summoned state plus twelve elders, yet it still destroys that state and inflicts heavy depletion. (Chapter 776)
• Energy conversion: Although the Demon God acts autonomously, the sword drains Zhou's Nebula Saint Energy at an extreme rate. The projection converts that energy into Evil Energy and assimilates surrounding Natural Elements more efficiently than Zhou can, letting him observe a higher method of energy manipulation. (Chapter 775)
• Limits: Zhou neither chooses the sword's appearance nor controls its attack, cannot reliably summon it at will, and nearly exhausts himself even with support from his companions. The manifestation is temporary and disappears with the Demon God projection after one strike. Later grey swords modeled on it are explicitly imitations. (Chapters 775–776 and 808)
