Zareen

Zareen Rimaros is the middle child of Liara and Baseph, a silver-rank adventurer with more interest in politics than her elder sister Dara. Her combination of field experience and court awareness makes her a useful intermediary around Jason. (Chapters 575–599)

Biography

Between adventuring and diplomacy

Zareen meets Jason through family gatherings and is drawn into Liara’s attempt to manage his volatile position in Rimaros society. At a royal ball, she privately advises him, helps identify the political interests behind provocations and remains present through the de Varco challenges. Unlike Dara, Zareen is considered capable of tolerating political work without giving up the instincts of an adventurer. Years later she joins the delegation to Earth, where her distance from the central royal line earns her the formal style of “Lady” rather than “Princess.” (Chapters 575–599, 940)

Skills and relationships

Zareen is silver rank and trained as an adventurer, but her most visible skill is reading court incentives and helping narrow suspects during political manoeuvring. She can move between family intimacy and formal diplomacy without wielding royal status as blunt force. (Chapters 575–599, 940)
