Stash

Stash, short for Velitraxistaasch, is Humphrey Geller's dragon familiar. He initially hides as a puppy, but his playful transformations eventually develop into humanoid and elemental forms that support Team Biscuit in battle and rescue work. (Chapters 38, 890, 981)

Biography

Growing beside Humphrey

Humphrey brings Stash to the Adventure Society as a puppy, only for Jason to guess his draconic nature and prompt an immediate transformation into a canary. As Humphrey advances, Stash gains increasingly capable forms and an independent voice. By adulthood he helps organise hidden storage with Danielle and joins emergency responses, where his frustration at arriving too late is tempered by Humphrey's insistence that lives saved still matter. Magic and abilities

Stash can change species and scale, beginning with small animal disguises and later adopting a silver-haired humanoid appearance based on Humphrey. His transformations include elemental bodies such as a pale-blue slime able to fire water-like gobbets and extinguish a burning building. The forms are adaptable rather than omnipotent; even his rescue form cannot reverse deaths that occurred before he arrived. (Chapters 38, 890, 981)
