Ledev

Ledev is a gold-rank stealth specialist on Liara’s team and the brother of Jana. His reserved assessment of Jason precedes a mission in which he gives his life to bring down the Builder’s flying fortress. (Chapters 482–512, 590)

Biography

Assessment and sacrifice

Ledev shadows Jason through the jungle on a specialised flight platform, then reports that Jason is individually capable and possesses a formidable aura but would be difficult to integrate into a conventional team. When the Builder fortress threatens Rimaros, Ledev joins Liara and Jana as the gold-rank stealth trio most likely to deliver the true destructive device deep inside the city. The mission penetrates the defences but leaves Ledev to detonate the weapon at the cost of his life. His death ends the immediate threat and leaves Jana grieving a brother whose difficult personality does not diminish the scale of his sacrifice. (Chapters 482, 490–512, 590)

Skills and relationships

Ledev specialises in high-rank stealth, aura masking and covert delivery. His team is chosen because it can infiltrate where open force would fail; the final detonation shows the mission’s limit, as successful placement does not guarantee escape. (Chapters 482, 490–512)
