Jana is a hunter on Liara’s team who helps observe and evaluate Jason during the Rimaros monster surge.

Biography

Watching an unpredictable ally

Jana joins Liara’s field team as Jason’s reputation draws royal attention and the Builder threat makes his actions impossible to ignore. Rather than confront him politically, she shadows operations from the field, using a flight platform and hunter’s senses to keep pace while reporting what he actually does. Her work gives Liara direct evidence about a volatile ally whose public stories are too contradictory to evaluate from a palace. (Chapters 482–491)

During later surge operations, Jana continues as part of the mobile force responding to threats across Rimaros. She accepts assignments where observation can turn into combat without warning, helping the royal team distinguish Jason’s theatrical misdirection from dangers that require intervention. Her contribution is sustained vigilance rather than a single decisive victory. (Chapters 512–529, 590–591)

Skills and abilities

Jana is a silver-rank hunter with tracking, observation, aura perception, and aerial mobility through a flying platform. These tools let her shadow powerful targets and cover broad terrain, but covert observation becomes less reliable against exceptional aura control and familiars designed for counter-surveillance.
