Greg

Greg is the mayor of a delta village aided by Jason during his journey toward Greenstone. He represents the local civic leaders forced to rely on passing adventurers when monster activity exceeds what an ordinary settlement can handle. (Chapter 31)

Biography

A village spared

Greg meets Jason as the adventurers prepare to leave after preventing dangerous creatures from reaching the village. Rather than claim the victory as his own, he thanks Jason publicly and allows the community's gratitude to stand. His role is small but consequential: by recognising help without trying to bind the adventurers to further obligations, he closes the crisis cleanly and lets them continue toward the dangers ahead. (Chapter 31)

Skills and role

Greg's authority is civic rather than magical. He coordinates a vulnerable community and speaks for it when outside help determines whether residents survive. (Chapter 31)
