Genevieve Picot is the elderly elf serving as deputy director of Greenstone’s Adventure Society branch. She handles investigations, tracking and sensitive liaison work for Director Elspeth Arella during the city’s escalating crises. (Chapters 84, 98–137)

Biography

Greenstone deputy director

Genevieve first questions Jason during his promotion process, then helps Arella investigate noble interference, missing adventurers and the Builder cult. She is surprised that Jason reads the fine print of his service agreement, a small moment that captures her administrative experience colliding with an unpredictable newcomer. As the threat expands, Genevieve tracks badges and bracelets, filters urgent information and receives high-status visitors on the Society’s behalf. Her work does not put her at the centre of battles, but it keeps a strained branch able to locate people, preserve procedure and respond when senior figures are scattered.
