Velgrath

Velgrath, the Weaver of Void-Silk, is one of four Outer Gods who answer Neo Hargraves's challenge near Earth. His angels, void-silk, and World are subordinates or manifestations of his power rather than separate Velgrath bodies. (Chapters 547–550)

Biography

Battle at the solar system

Velgrath weaves galaxy seeds in the Looming Spire before an angel reports Neo's demand for an audience. He descends first beyond Jupiter and initially pauses at Neo's confidence, then summons eldritch reinforcements and joins the attempt to erase him. Neo survives inside Vaedrex, returns, and sends world-devouring roots into the Outer Gods' Worlds. With Velgrath's threads unraveling, World Ender Flames burn his defenses and Neo cuts his body apart thread by thread. Neo later turns to the four corpses for memories and power. (Chapters 547–552)

Powers and limitations

Velgrath's many arms spin void-silk capable of creating galaxies, summoning angels, stitching space-time into traps, and forming conceptual blades. His Divinity, Weaving of the Abyss, binds energy, matter, and concepts. Its weakness is direct assault on the World supporting it: Neo's roots consume the underlying Divinity and Concept, allowing World Ender Flames to unravel the remaining structure.
