Myzrul

Myzrul, the Shepherd of Stars, is one of four Outer Gods who answer Neo Hargraves's challenge. His stars, lattice, and stardust servants are constructs or subordinates rather than alternate Myzrul bodies. (Chapters 547–550)

Biography

The Shepherd's final battle

Myzrul first appears above a newborn sun, his antlered form radiating light through star nurseries. He arrives near Jupiter with constellations across his wings and a crown of burning suns, then challenges Neo to war. During the battle he turns distant stars into weapons and helps overwhelm Neo's Eternal defense. When Neo returns, roots consume the Worlds sustaining the Outer Gods and dim Myzrul's lattice. Myzrul draws collapsed suns into himself for a final self-destruction, but Neo splits the suns and detonates World Ender Flames inside him before devouring the remains. (Chapters 547–552)

Powers and limitations

Herding of Celestial Flames grants control over stars, including stellar lances, ancient suns, and a lattice of celestial power. Myzrul carries a staff and can attempt catastrophic self-destruction by absorbing collapsed suns. Attacks on the World beneath his Divinity make those stars flicker and leave the lattice unable to resist world-ending fire. (Chapters 550–552)
