Minotaur

The Minotaur is the four-armed legendary monster at the center of the shifting Labyrinth. It is distinct from the generic minotaur fought at the Paris Dairy mission in Chapter 86. (Chapters 86 and 162)

Biography

The repeated Labyrinth duel

Neo Hargraves reaches the Minotaur after entering a high-risk Labyrinth mission and repeatedly regressing through their battle. The creature revives after death, learns from prior exchanges, and uses a colossal weapon, four arms, horn blasts, and deliberate bait rather than fighting as a mindless beast. Their repeated deaths accumulate red lightning and Death power, weakening both opponents while turning the confrontation into a contest of adaptation. (Chapters 162–164 and 175–176)

Neo finally prevents another revival by devouring the Minotaur completely, including its heart. The Labyrinth closes after its guardian is removed, and the aftermath produces a Tiger-ranked Window. Those environmental labels describe the mission and its consequences; the novel never gives the Minotaur itself a formal personal rank. (Chapters 164, 176, and 371)

Appearance and personality

The Minotaur is enormous, muscular, horned, and equipped with four arms. Hunger is visible in its first confrontation, but its feints and adaptation show calculation alongside ferocity. (Chapters 162–164)

Powers and limitations

Its core advantage is revival after apparent death, supplemented by regeneration, brute strength, weapon skill, red lightning, and a horn-fired energy attack. Complete devouring is the demonstrated way to stop its return. (Chapters 162–164 and 175–176)

Relationships

The Minotaur and Neo are defined by their repeated duel: each recurrence gives both more information, and the accumulated Death force that harms Neo also becomes part of the means by which he ends the cycle. (Chapters 162–164 and 175–176)
