Laplace

Laplace is a dragon-human and the weakened former Supreme of Destruction. His former Supreme title is explicit, but the story does not assign a replacement numbered God stage after his weakening. (Chapters 740–741 and 749)

Biography

Revenge and the battle with Amelia

Laplace enters the Site conflict by scattering Void's attack and greeting the Supreme of Water as an old enemy. He declares that having both women present finally gives him revenge, mocks the dead Berserker's damaged memory, and is judged strong enough that the accompanying Ancient Dragons expect him to defeat the defenders without their intervention. His contempt is rooted in older Supreme-era conflicts rather than the immediate Site alone. (Chapters 740–741)

He faces Amelia inside her Complete World and remains unharmed while she uses water, Reality Illusions, and branching Time attacks. Laplace answers with destructive force, including an Orb of Destruction, and destabilizes her World without deploying a visible Supreme World of his own. His control breaks when Aerion is gravely injured: he ignores Amelia's attacks and rushes to the fallen dragon, revealing a bond stronger than tactical pride. (Chapters 746–750)

Appearance and personality

Laplace is a tall dragon-human who fights in robes and radiates black destructive energy. He is vengeful, contemptuous, and eager to expose his enemies' weaknesses, but shock and concern for Aerion override the composure he maintains while walking through Amelia's attacks. Powers and limitations

As the former Supreme of Destruction, Laplace can condense destructive energy into humanoid form, produce an Orb of Destruction, withstand a Stage 6 opponent's Complete World, and destabilize it physically. He is explicitly weakened and may be unable to deploy his own Supreme World, though Amelia treats that as a puzzling possibility rather than a fully explained condition. Relationships

Void and the Supreme of Water are targets of Laplace's old revenge. Amelia becomes his direct battlefield opponent, while Aerion is the companion whose injury makes him abandon the duel's logic. The Ancient Dragons respect his residual strength but observe rather than fully share his personal grievance. (Chapters 740–741 and 746–750)
