High General Baryon Flamejaw

High General Baryon Flamejaw is Trokota's warlord and the Protector of Zone 4 in Tartarus. The Protector retains historical Flamejaw's consciousness inside a nightmare-controlled body, making him neither an unrelated copy nor a freely acting continuation during his final battle. (Chapters 504–512)

Biography

Warlord, puppet, and release

Historical Flamejaw sustains Trokota's eternal wars for power, sabotaging peace and helping create a world where betrayal and violence become ordinary survival. Tartarus later controls the warlord's body as a Zone Protector. Flamejaw's own World Ender Flames partly loosen the nightmare's hold, leaving him awake for centuries while his body continues acting like a puppet and his will is slowly broken. (Chapters 511–512)

He confronts Neo in molten armor, burning the world around them and nearly destroying Eternal. Once Neo wins, Flamejaw lets his flames die, crumbles into ash, and looks at his killer with gratitude because defeat finally releases him. Neo devours the resulting memories and inherits World Ender Flames, preserving the technique while ending the consciousness trapped behind it. (Chapters 504–505, 512, and 552)

Appearance and personality

Flamejaw wears molten armor, carries a jagged burning-stone sword, and ignites the horizon with every breath. His historical ambition and cruelty coexist with the exhausted gratitude of the captive Protector; the later suffering explains his final response without absolving the wars he deliberately prolonged. (Chapters 504–505 and 511–512)

Powers and limitations

World Ender Flames is a Fire Concept specialized in burning Worlds, making it especially effective against a God's strongest domain. The flames can damage structures and abilities that ordinary fire cannot, including Neo's Eternal. The source states no personal formal rank or mastery for Flamejaw, so Protector and High General remain offices rather than progression rows. (Chapters 504, 512, and 552)

Relationships

Tartarus is Flamejaw's controller and jailer. Neo is both executioner and the inheritor who understands the gratitude afterward. Celestra uses Eyes of Echoes to reconstruct his final moment, helping carry the memory of his release beyond the destroyed Zone. (Chapters 509, 511–512, and 552)
