Harrison

Harrison di Valemont is a proud Zeus Clan student whose rivalry with Neo repeatedly tests the difference between confidence and sound judgment. (Chapters 45, 59, and 86–90)

Biography

Rivalry and the Calamity Window

Harrison disputes mission assignments, pressures Zoe, and provokes Neo Hargraves, treating clan status and personal strength as reasons to resist cooperation. In the Calamity Window he insists on fighting his own Shadow alone. He eventually recognizes that an opponent sharing his habits can predict him and begins adapting, but Lucas's Shadow intervenes before that adjustment can secure victory. (Chapters 59, 86, 89–90, and 109–114)

Harrison's Shadow nearly devours him until Neo kills it from afar, while Lucas contaminates Harrison through baptism. Harrison resents needing rescue instead of accepting the lesson immediately. The mission report identifies pride as his defining flaw and gives him a poor evaluation, leaving his last material arc as a warning that strong defenses and technique cannot compensate for refusing help at the wrong moment. (Chapters 109–114 and 127)

Appearance and personality

Harrison is confrontational, status-conscious, and determined to prove himself without assistance. He can analyze his own predictability under pressure, but wounded pride makes it difficult for him to accept the person who saves him. (Chapters 89–90, 109–114, and 127)

Powers and limitations

Harrison fights with lightning, swordsmanship, Aura Blade, and the defensive unique skill Invincible. The academy mission evaluation concerns conduct and results rather than cultivation, and no formal Awakener rank is stated. Harrison's Shadow is a distinct hostile copy and its feats are not his. (Chapters 59, 109–114, and 127)

Relationships

Neo is Harrison's rival and unwanted rescuer. Zoe becomes a target of his pressure during team formation, while Lucas's Shadow turns Harrison's private duel into a near-fatal contamination. (Chapters 86, 89–90, and 109–114)
