Cross Bag

The Cross Bag is a small black leather bag given to Yu IlHan as a Heaven quest reward. Its expandable space and repeatedly upgraded options make it an essential tool for his early hunting and crafting.

History

Heaven’s storage reward

Erta presents the bag after Yu IlHan’s early Trap of Destruction work. Despite its small exterior, its spatial expansion can hold an enormous quantity of weapons, materials, and monster corpses. This lets Yu IlHan change equipment instantly and carry the proceeds of hunts that would otherwise weigh many tons. (Chapters 29–36)

Repeated upgrades

Angels mana-craft the bag several times in response to Yu IlHan’s quest rewards. Weight control prevents its contents from pinning him down, rot-proofing preserves monster materials, and weight transfer lets him shift the stored mass into another object as an attack. Later additions allow remote collection and automatic categorization, greatly speeding his concealed hunts. (Chapters 37, 51, 56, and 69)

Conversion into an inventory

After Yu IlHan resolves the crisis in Dareu, Heaven grants him ownership of the interspaces left by dead angels. The Cross Bag is destroyed during the transfer, but all its contents and useful options move into the new inventory. Weight control merges into the stronger weight-transfer function, rot-proofing is replaced by frozen time, and remote collection remains available on a larger scale. (Chapter 105)

• Spatial expansion stores objects vastly larger than the bag’s exterior. (Chapter 29)
• Weight control and transfer separate the bag’s effective burden from its contents and can apply stored mass to a chosen object. (Chapters 36, 51, and 56)
• Rot-proofing preserves organic materials. (Chapters 49–51)
• Remote collection retrieves visible possessions without physical contact, while categorization sorts stored objects. (Chapter 69)
