Yoon DaeHan
Yoon DaeHan is a senior Korean officer and commander in Suppression. His steady judgment makes him the military’s principal liaison with Yu IlHan and later one of the leaders brought back to defend Earth.
Biography
Suppression and Vanguard
Yoon appears with Han YeoRang in Suppression’s black military uniform during the early Great Cataclysm. After fighting abroad and approaching second class, he gives Yu IlHan his contact information and promptly arranges a private equipment negotiation. He accepts Yu IlHan’s conditions that the discounted weapons be distributed directly to Suppression rather than resold for government profit. (Chapters 58, 70, and 79–80)
Rescue from Midora
Yoon and thirty-nine subordinates are later stranded in Midora. Yu IlHan locates them through the records connecting him to Yoon and intervenes during their battle with a giant snake. Yoon immediately recognizes Yu IlHan’s spear and, after correcting him on a recent promotion, rejoins the Earth defense force with the surviving thirty-five troops. (Chapter 269)
Reuniting Suppression
At level 173, Yoon accompanies Yu IlHan to Guundia and reacts quickly when he learns that Han YeoRang’s group is in danger. His arrival reassures the stranded members of Suppression, and he explains Yu IlHan’s new scale of power to Han before supporting her request to evacuate all survivors to Earth. He later receives a communication device and helps establish the returning force in Venezuela. (Chapters 270–272)
Appearance and personality
Yoon is associated with Suppression’s unusual black uniform. He is composed, quick-witted, and dryly humorous, yet attentive to the welfare and dignity of his subordinates. Even after witnessing Yu IlHan’s interdimensional power, he adjusts quickly and focuses on the people still needing rescue. (Chapters 58, 79–80, and 270)
Abilities and classes
Ability-user combat progression
Yoon is an experienced military ability-user who approaches second class during Suppression’s early overseas operations and reaches level 173 after years stranded in Midora. This places him near the top of the surviving Korean unit, below Han YeoRang in the comparison Yu IlHan makes after their rescue. The corpus does not name Yoon’s class, weapon discipline, or a signature active skill, so his levels demonstrate substantial general combat growth without supporting a more specific power set. (Chapters 79 and 269–270)
Unit command and operational judgment
Yoon’s clearest demonstrated expertise is keeping a military unit functional beyond Earth’s support. Thirty-five of his forty stranded subordinates survive Midora and remain organized enough to fight a giant monster together when Yu IlHan arrives. After rescue, Yoon immediately shifts from personal relief to identifying the next endangered group and helps Han transfer the Guundian survivors to Earth. His authority depends on training, trust, and clear decisions rather than a supernatural command effect; Yu IlHan still supplies the interworld transport, communications, and overwhelming force the operation requires. (Chapters 269–272)
He is also a capable liaison. During the Vanguard negotiation he understands both military procurement needs and Yu IlHan’s distrust of government profiteering, accepts direct-distribution restrictions, and converts an unusual private sale into useful equipment for Suppression. This pragmatic coordination repeatedly allows stronger specialists to work without wasting time on institutional conflict. (Chapters 79–80)
