Satière
Satière is the Fourth Wing of Brilliant Light, a seventh-class fallen angel who confronts Helièna and Yu IlHan during the battle at the Wall of Chaos.
Biography
Wall of Chaos
Satière enters the battlefield after Yu IlHan’s soulflames disrupt the allied higher factions. Confident against other seventh-class beings, he is visibly shaken to find Helièna alive. He nevertheless commits to killing Yu IlHan, whom he blames for overturning the established conflict among the factions. (Chapters 266–267)
Helièna’s charm draws Satière toward her and turns nearby higher existences into shields. He responds by attacking continuously, even when his own subordinates die intercepting his eye-beams, because hesitation would deepen her influence. Their duel distracts him long enough for Kang MiRae to complete a gate into the Army of Brilliant Light’s headquarters. (Chapter 267)
Retreat and later battle
Satière tries to destroy the gate, but its autonomous magic grows by consuming the power directed at it. He retreats after threatening Yu IlHan and Helièna, then kneels with the other Wings when their ruler intervenes and orders them to leave Yu IlHan alone. (Chapters 267–268)
He later appears with the Army of Brilliant Light’s senior commanders in a chaotic battle where shifting faction objectives place him among those trying to keep Michael from killing Yu IlHan. His survival is not contradicted in the supplied corpus. (Chapters 293–295)
Appearance and personality
Satière resembles a middle-aged man with three pairs of pitch-black wings, ruby-red eyes, and a black fur coat covering his body. He carries an emperor-like presence. Proud, impatient, and highly conscious of his faction’s reputation, he prefers decisive violence to any delay that an opponent could exploit. (Chapters 266–267)
Abilities and classes
Seventh-class fallen-angel body
Satière is a seventh-class fallen angel with three pairs of black wings, flight, mana, and durability suited to direct combat against other faction commanders. As the Fourth Wing, he can continue attacking amid the Wall of Chaos’s faction-level battle and expects ordinary higher existences to clear his line. That rank does not protect his mind from Helièna’s charm or make him competitive with every seventh-class specialist; her presence immediately forces him into a hurried, increasingly costly response. (Chapters 266–267)
Concentrated eye-beams
He fires concentrated heat from his ruby-red eyes. The beams travel with enough force to kill higher existences caught in their path, and Satière can repeat them rapidly instead of allowing Helièna time to deepen her control. This output produces its own tactical limit: charmed subordinates move between him and the target, so continued fire kills members of his faction without guaranteeing a hit on her. The attack is powerful and direct, but it does not distinguish friend from shield or break charm by itself. (Chapter 267)
Dimensional withdrawal
When the mission fails, Satière escapes by integrating his body into another dimension of space. The technique removes him from the immediate battlefield and allows an organized retreat after the gate can no longer be destroyed through force. It is demonstrated as withdrawal, not unrestricted travel or combat intangibility; the corpus does not show him attacking while integrated or using it to ignore every restraint. His obedience to Lucifer’s later order, rather than this technique, is what ends the pursuit of Yu IlHan. (Chapters 267–268)
