Lazière is the First Wing of Brilliant Light and Lucifer’s most powerful subordinate. Despite standing against Yu IlHan in the Netherworld, she is unfailingly courteous and fights from loyalty rather than personal hostility.

Biography

The absent First Wing

Other commanders first invoke Lazière’s name during the clash among the higher factions, but she remains absent from the battlefield. Yu IlHan later realizes that he has met every major faction leader or commander except her and treats that absence as evidence that Lucifer is preparing a separate move. (Chapters 293, 331)

Defense of the Netherworld

Lazière finally receives Yu IlHan at the Army of Brilliant Light’s palace. She identifies herself as an eighth-class being and acknowledges that she cannot measure his strength. Though aware she cannot defeat him, she intends to hold him until Lucifer returns. This is duty rather than confidence in a hidden countermeasure: she places herself between an intruder and her faction’s home despite recognizing the difference in power. Yu IlHan restrains her instantly but refuses to kill someone who bears him no personal malice. (Chapter 341)

Unable to move, Lazière watches Yu IlHan plant a Trap of Restoration and seize control of the Netherworld’s future without fighting Lucifer. Yu IlHan later confirms that Lucifer deliberately used Lazière to provoke him, but she survives the scheme. (Chapters 342, 348)

Beside Lucifer

After the war, Lazière continues serving Lucifer and openly enjoys remaining at his side. The two later have children, Adrian and Ariel, and share commentary duties at the next generation’s match. (Extra Chapters 1 and 3)
