Tridel

Tridel is an Orange-grade hunter affiliated with the Voice of the Ancestors. His rivalry with Moui Tylenn and hostility toward the Republic become personal conflicts when he follows Flynn's attempt to warn Kai, helps abduct Kai Tylenn, and hunts him through Veeryd during the rebel raid on Sylspring. Biography

Humility and Pride to The Path Forward

Tridel first confronts Moui and Kai near the Hunters Lodge, enforcing territorial rules with exaggerated courtesy and an insincere smile. Moui explains that Tridel resents him for arriving unexpectedly and outperforming him in the previous three hunts. That wounded pride later intersects with the Voice of the Ancestors' plans. When Flynn tries to warn Kai about the coming attack on Sylspring, Tridel follows him, preventing the warning and helping bring Kai to a hidden rebel outpost. Kai escapes and chooses the fastest route home despite Flynn's warning that Tridel is an expert tracker.
