Shan'Rae

Shan'Rae is a Princess of the Void Race and the thirty-seventh candidate in line for the Void Throne. Her first contemptuous encounter with Leonel Morales becomes a long rivalry that exposes both her extraordinary command of space and the fear limiting her Death Lord Ability Index. Leonel eventually kills her, raises her soul as a King Summon, and expends her immense reserves to build an army during the final war.

Biography

God Realm and Dream Pavilion struggles

Shan'Rae enters an Incomplete World aboard a ship made from a Void Beast corpse while El'Rion is repaying a Pluto obligation to Leonel. Mistaking Leonel's possession of El'Rion's body for an opportunity to mock the declining Pluto Race, she speaks with the inherited certainty that humans are beneath notice. Leonel attacks rather than accept the insult. Shan'Rae realizes by touch that the person inside El'Rion is not the Pluto prince, but her indifference becomes alarm when Leonel uses El'Rion's power to crack her body and tries to kill her despite the political consequences. Her own Ancestor intervenes when a spear is about to finish her, then restores her body and power. At full strength, Shan'Rae's scythe cuts through Leonel's Divine Armor and her control is so alien that he cannot identify her dimension. She still cannot exceed a limit imposed by the Regulator, however, and El'Rion stops the renewed battle. When he produces the Hourglass, Shan'Rae abandons her ship and subordinates and escapes immediately; its power over causality frightens even her Ancestor's class of being. The confrontation establishes the contradiction that follows her: supreme inherited power coupled with a willingness to retreat whenever the danger becomes personally real. (Chapters 2209–2216)

The Void Dream Pavilion later identifies her as an “Unmatured” junior thirty-seventh in line for the Void Throne. Her rank is high enough that senior Void figures cannot simply order her about and that studying a Void Beast corpse is available to her when it would be unthinkable for ordinary members of Existence. Yet her direct participation recedes while Leonel advances through the Dream Pavilion conflict, leaving their first battle as an unresolved personal grievance. (Chapters 2522–2523 and 2817)

The final war and a transformed Existence

Shan'Rae descends into the Demi-God Realms as the Void Race's answer to the war. She kills high-level Owlan and Fallen God Beast combatants, withdraws before their true powerhouses arrive, and repeatedly strikes elsewhere before reinforcements can catch her. One junior's intervention is enough to reverse fronts and force the opposing alliance into crisis, but she remains careful not to face Ancestor-level enemies. Leonel studies this pattern, publicly taunts her, and chooses to hunt her as part of his retaliation against the Gods. (Chapters 2882–2889 and 2918)

When they meet again, Shan'Rae uses her Void Race body, Blackhole Force, spatial Lineage Factor, and scythe to fold attacks across distance. Leonel's Destruction World makes the fine control required by that spatial mastery unstable, allowing him to decapitate and dismember her. Her Death Counter reverses the first death and finally forces her to confront the experience her Death Lord Ability Index requires. Her Death Force races from Unfurled through Peak Impetus, while spatial wings and a smaller scythe intensify her Domain, but Leonel reads through the layers of space and kills her again. Leonel then tears her protected soul from her body with [Arise]. Death Lord makes the resurrected soul unusually stable, and its Ability Index rises from Gold to Life Grade after the awakening. Bound to call Leonel “My King,” Shan'Rae becomes his proxy commander: her prestige lets her marshal living Void Race armies while Leonel remains hidden, turning her former authority against the people and allies she had served. This obedience is imposed by King's Might rather than a voluntary change of allegiance. (Chapters 2969–2972)

During the final war, Leonel uses Shan'Rae as an energy source for repeated resurrections. Although only Sixth Dimensional, her Void Race body continually replaces extinguished galaxies and holds reserves comparable to top members of her race. The extraction ultimately drains her until she collapses after powering the rise of roughly two hundred Gods. She proclaims loyalty to King Morales as she falls, and Mir'Kael treats the event as her death. Leonel later weaponizes that humiliation against her elder brother, Lui'Shae. Appearance and personality

Shan'Rae first stands nearly four meters tall, later appearing around three, with dark glass-like skin that contains a moving cosmos. Her eyes shine like suns or become blank white depths, and her black hair resembles dreamlike fog. She seems naked without actually being so, and speaks in a layered voice like three women harmonizing. Damage fractures her skin like porcelain, while restoration causes the stars and galaxies across her body to multiply. Her signature weapon is an enormous spatial scythe; in her advanced battle state, cracked-space wings form behind her and the scythe contracts into a faster, deadlier shape. Pride is her dominant trait. Shan'Rae regards weaker races as roadside animals and assumes her lineage and political importance make lethal retaliation unthinkable. She can still assess danger accurately: the Hourglass makes her flee without her followers, she avoids Owlan elites, and she retreats from Nova's Ancestor-level rage. Leonel interprets that survival instinct as cowardice because fear of death has kept her from developing the Ability Index designed around it. Once resurrected, her apparent bold devotion is the behavior of a bound soul rather than evidence that her original personality freely reformed. (Chapters 2205–2211, 2882–2889, 2918, and 2967–2969)

Abilities and cultivation

Shan'Rae is explicitly Sixth Dimensional in her resurrected state, but her energy stores and God Race foundation make that label a poor measure of her output. She overwhelms elite Demi-Gods, controls living Void armies by status, and provides the energy for Leonel to resurrect Gods three Dimensional Realms above himself. Her latest named Force-manipulation achievement is Peak Impetus State with Death Force. The corpus does not state her exact Dimensional tier or when she originally entered the Sixth Dimension. Void Race body and spatial Lineage Factor

A true Void Race body contains absorbed worlds and carries their collective weight; space therefore bends around it before conscious action. Shan'Rae can treat that warped space as an extension of her body, folding, bending, shattering, and crossing it without separately summoning Spatial Force. She protects her heart by placing spatial distances inside her own chest, attacks a target's back from the front, heals severe bodily damage, and brings armies between worlds with the aid of Leonel's transport. Blackhole Force complements this control, and her immense internal cosmos functions as a replenishing reservoir. (Chapters 2205–2209, 2965–2966, and 3004)

The same precision creates a direct weakness. Leonel's Destruction World fills space with chaos, corrupts Shan'Rae's readings, and steers her toward false paths. Her control then works against her: widening a spatial tear strengthens the hostile world, while trying to limit it requires attention she cannot spare. Ancestor-level enemies and the laws of a suppressive Realm also restrict how much of her true strength she can display. (Chapters 2209–2210, 2886, and 2965–2968)

Death Lord and Death Force

Death Lord is an Ability Index that grants Death Force affinity and permits Death Counter, a reversal performed after actual death rather than a defense that prevents it. Its central requirement is intimacy with death. Before fighting Leonel, Shan'Rae avoids that experience and uses Death Force only superficially because the Force is difficult to wield without a medium. After Leonel dismembers her, Death Counter restores her and her comprehension rapidly climbs from Unfurled to Higher and then Peak Impetus State. She layers Death Force over Blackhole Force until death itself responds to her will. (Chapters 2966–2968)

The awakened index reaches Life Grade and extends the duration of her resurrected soul from roughly a day to weeks even without immediate assimilation. It does not make her invincible: Leonel kills her a second time after the rapid advancement, King's Might binds the extracted soul, and sustained energy extraction eventually exhausts that soul completely. Her strongest improvement therefore arrives only after death and remains subordinate to Leonel's control. (Chapters 2968–2969 and 3004–3006)

Scythe combat and limits

Shan'Rae's scythe attacks carry Force Folding and spatial placement rather than ordinary acceleration. The blade can arrive at a target before conventional reactions matter, cut through Divine Armor, and become more lethal when paired with twin spatial wings and a suppressive Domain. [Resonate Hum] draws surrounding Force toward her, and her combat experience lets her use attached spatial wings as defenses that cannot simply be stripped from her control. Her limitations are as much psychological as technical. She initially relies on inherited spatial supremacy instead of developing Death Lord, is caught off guard by opponents she classifies as lesser, and struggles when chaos denies her precise readings. Even at Peak Impetus, Leonel's omnidirectional spear concept penetrates the layered-space defense and bisects her. (Chapters 2205–2209 and 2965–2969)

• Leonel Morales: Shan'Rae first sees Leonel as an ant misusing El'Rion's body; his refusal to respect her status turns that contempt into a personal killing intent.
