Starseizing Manor

The Starseizing Manor, first known to Ji Ning as the underwater estate or Serpentwing Aquatic Manor, is Daoist Threelives' portable estate and the repository of his legacy.

History

Discovery beneath Serpentwing Lake

Ji Ning discovers the estate through a passage beneath Serpentwing Lake and initially gives the unknown complex a provisional name. Its trials, halls, treasures, and resident spirit become a private foundation for his early growth. (Chapter 50)

A refuge and portable stronghold

After binding the estate, Ning can enter it through the manifestation of a giant grizzly head and carry it with him. The manor serves as a secluded place for cultivation, meetings, and the safekeeping of people and treasures, although its spirit warns that it cannot protect Ning from every superior power. (Chapters 281 and 467)

The manor's enduring spirit

The giant yellow bear is the manor's sentient treasure-spirit, not its owner's property in the sense of an ordinary object. Its independent intelligence and capacity to cultivate later provide Ning with a point of comparison for newly born sword-spirits. (Chapter 980)

Abilities and properties

• It is a Protocosmic spirit-treasure containing an estate-world with multiple halls and legacy trials. (Chapters 50 and 467)
• Its bound user can enter it from the outside, allowing the estate to function as a portable refuge and cultivation base. (Chapter 281)
• Its concealment is not absolute: sufficiently powerful figures can expose and forcibly bind the treasure. (Chapter 467)
