Rahu Bow

The Rahu Bow is a black Protocosmic spirit-bow forged from the corpse of the alien Outsider Rahu and later wielded by Ji Ning with Houyi's Archery.

History

A legacy bow

Ning encounters the Rahu Bow among the powerful treasures connected to the Starseizing Manor's legacy. He later brings its full strength to bear as his understanding of archery and heartforce improves. (Chapters 390 and 440)

Heartforce archery

Ning uses the bow together with Houyi's Archery, cycling divine power and heartforce into a flaming arrow. The method focuses his strength into a limited number of exceptionally powerful long-range shots. (Chapter 491)

Forged from Rahu

The Three Realms created the bow from the corpse of Rahu after defeating the Outsider, one of several treasures refined from his remains. Its name therefore records its material origin rather than a continuing identity or resident being. (Chapter 756)

Abilities and properties

• It channels divine power and heartforce into long-range arrows through Houyi's Archery. (Chapter 491)
• Its shots can draw in surrounding natural energy as they fly. (Chapter 491)
• Its body was refined from Rahu's remains after his death. (Chapter 756)
