Nine Lives Pagoda

The Nine Lives Pagoda is a small golden Protocosmic spirit-pagoda capable of creating nine nearly indistinguishable escape incarnations.

History

Primordial-chaos treasure

The pagoda's bald-monastic spirit explains that the treasure formed from unusual materials of the primordial chaos and received its name from Daoist Threelives. After binding it, its master can produce nine incarnations with the same apparent power as the user. (Chapter 571)

Ning's concealed inheritance

Ning inherits the pagoda together with the Voidboat and Goldstar Beads of the Heavens. He discloses the other two treasures to Threelives' followers but keeps the Nine Lives Pagoda secret so that its escape function remains difficult for enemies to anticipate. (Chapter 573)

Abilities and properties

  • It creates nine incarnations whose displayed power equals the user's and which even True Gods or Daofathers cannot distinguish from one another. (Chapter 571)
  • The incarnations can use fleeing divine abilities at high speed. (Chapter 571)
  • The incarnations cannot convincingly fight because they do not use divine power or Immortal energy; combat exposes them as false bodies. (Chapter 571)
  • Their movement consumes stored energy, and each incarnation dissipates once that energy is exhausted. (Chapter 571)
