Goldstar Beads of the Heavens

The Goldstar Beads of the Heavens, also introduced as the Stargold Beads of the Heavens, are a set of 3,600 transformable beads inherited by Ji Ning from Daoist Threelives.

History

Threelives' legacy

The treasure-spirit identifies the beads after Ning obtains them from the Starseizing Manor. Even before nine chaos seals were fused into the treasure, the beads could assume the form called the Thirty-Six Heavens. (Chapter 573)

Weight and weapon forms

Ning learns to vary the weight of the 3,600 beads, balancing speed and force for his attacks. At suitable settings, each can be light enough to control while the set retains the capacity for tremendous impact. (Chapter 604)

The Thirty-Six Heavens

In battle, Ning merges the beads into thirty-six world-like forms and can shape them into frozen lotuses through his Immortal energy. The transformed set freezes and pressures the surrounding battlefield while remaining under his direct control. (Chapters 732 and 782)

Abilities and properties

• The 3,600 beads can merge into the Thirty-Six Heavens, a form associated with the combined force of thirty-six major worlds. (Chapter 573)
• Each bead can become extremely heavy or light, with the practical setting limited by the wielder's control. (Chapter 604)
• The set can assume combat forms such as frozen lotuses and project powerful freezing energy. (Chapter 732)
