Ninefangs

Ninefangs is the youngest in cultivation of the seven Empyrean Gods inherited by the Starseizing Manor's new Manorlord, Ji Ning. Formerly a Void-level Fiendgod soldier under Daoist Threelives, he becomes Ning's traveling attendant and a practical organizer for the Starseizer world's armies.

Biography

Return of the Starseizing Manor

Ninefangs spends countless years hidden with Redsnow and the other surviving servants of Daoist Threelives. When the Grand Xia Realmwar reaches its crisis, the seven debate whether to spend the single intervention they have promised Ning. Ninefangs reminds him that their commitment is limited to one use, not to discourage him but to ensure the new Manorlord understands the cost before calling the ancient force back into the Three Realms. After Ning becomes the acknowledged Manorlord, Ninefangs kneels with the others and transfers his service to him. He is the only one among more than one hundred thousand Void-level Fiendgods in the Starseizer world known to have broken through during the long isolation, but he is still the last and weakest-founded of the seven Empyrean Gods. This position makes him eager to work and conscious of how much he has yet to learn. (Chapters 568–571)

Ning distributes treasures left from earlier conflicts, and Ninefangs hesitantly chooses the Grand Bloodshadow Formation of the Heavens. It is one of Ning's best top-grade Pure Yang treasures and is especially compatible with Ninefangs's bat body. Receiving it strengthens his loyalty, because Ning could have kept the treasure despite attributing the distribution to Threelives's wishes. Attendant across the Three Realms

Ninefangs follows Ning through Daofather Fuju's twenty-seven worlds while Ning studies sword remnants. He stands guard during meditation, watches for local threats, and acts when authority must be exercised. After a prince interferes with Ning, Ninefangs stretches an arm across an immense distance and captures the responsible Celestial Immortal master by the collar. He releases the captive immediately when Ning orders restraint. (Chapters 574–578)

The journey also exposes his limitations. The aura of the Five Treasure Peaks makes him pale and nauseated, and Ning tells him that his Dao-heart needs work. Ninefangs had been only a Void-level soldier during the Primordial Era, did not share the other six Empyrean Gods' long wars beside Threelives, and lacks a great teacher. Rather than hiding the weakness, he accepts the criticism and continues serving while Ning develops his own sword arts. (Chapters 577–601)

His attendance is practical as well as ceremonial. He senses Ning's breakthrough into the Grand Dao of the Waterdrop while drinking nearby, conceals a day-long duel from surrounding mortals, puts hostile bystanders to sleep with a word, warns Ning about the Seamless Gate, and waits outside meetings where his presence is not required. His willingness to move between menial protection and Empyrean-level intervention makes him useful precisely because he does not insist on a grander role. (Chapters 575–610)

Mobilizing for war

Ning repeatedly sends Ninefangs into the Starseizer world when secret preparations are needed. Ninefangs helps ready the population before the Starseizing Manor publicly reveals its army, and later responds immediately when Ning orders full mobilization. He can nap and enjoy dangerously venomous wine while standing guard, yet his senses remain alert to changes in Ning's cultivation or the arrival of powerful threats. Abilities and cultivation

Ninefangs is an Empyrean God whose true body is a bat. His cultivation gives him immense scale, divine senses, and physical reach, but the text explicitly places his foundation below those of the other six ancient Empyrean Gods. (Chapters 568–577)

Bat Fiendgod body

In true form Ninefangs is more than ten thousand kilometers long. Even while appearing human, he can extend an arm as far as one hundred thousand kilometers, seize a distant Celestial Immortal, and retract the limb without needing to cross the intervening terrain conventionally. Ninefangs receives this top-grade Pure Yang treasure from Ning after the Godking's spoils are distributed. Redsnow identifies it as especially well suited to Ninefangs's bat nature.
