Iyerre

Iyerre is the second Omega Autarch of the Sithe Chaosverse and supreme commander of the invasion targeting Ji Ning's home Chaosverse. Unable to become Lord of an already bound homeland, he spends aeons trying to weaken and claim a foreign one.

Biography

The hidden commander

Iyerre is a disciple of the Sithe Lord of Chaos and the second Omega Autarch produced by their homeland. His master grants him nearly thirty percent of the Sithe Chaosverse to administer and permits him to use its rising experts in foreign conquest. Because only the first Omega Autarch can bind a Chaosverse peacefully, Iyerre chooses the weakest of the eight unbound foreign Chaosverses and stakes his path to becoming a Lord of Chaos on invasion. The Dawn War fails to secure victory, but Iyerre does not spend his remaining forces in a hopeless last attack. He hides his own existence and preserves Sithe heartlands that the native Autarchs believe sealed. This patience becomes his greatest strategic advantage: the cultivators prepare for surviving Sithe remnants without knowing that an Omega Autarch has directed them for countless aeons. When Bowenya reports an Eternal Omega Dao master trapped in a Daoguard Tower, Iyerre sends an Apocalypse-class tree servitor designed to exhaust Ning's crumbling truesoul. The counter is mechanically appropriate but arrives too late. The dimensional tunnel leaves a ripple that guides Autarch Mogg and Titanos to the hidden world, where they destroy the creature and rescue Ning. Iyerre rebukes Bowenya less for losing than for delaying the report until secrecy and preparation can no longer be preserved. (Chapters 1376–1380)

The Annihilation Hive and final war

Iyerre's Annihilation Hive is built to siphon energy from the target Chaosverse. He considers it his greatest creation because success would weaken the native world without immediately exposing his main armies. When the cultivator Autarchs solve its vortex, he abandons the indirect victory and mobilizes the Sithe for a final war. (Chapters 1400–1405)

He promises subordinates freedom and rewards, but treats the vanguard as expendable. Sithe truesouls normally return to their own Chaosverse after death, whereas native experts killed by Sithe truesoul-devouring methods permanently weaken the invaded world. Iyerre therefore accepts enormous casualties as a favorable exchange and monitors the war as an attritional attack on the Chaosverse itself. (Chapters 1404–1407)

Hunting Emperor Darknorth

The one variable he fears is Emperor Darknorth. A failed Daolord who created Truesoul Everlasting may advance to Omega Autarchy under wartime pressure, so Iyerre regards Ning as more dangerous than all six native Autarchs combined. He orders eight Exalts to trap Ning in the Eight Revolutions Spacetime Temple and travels there personally. (Chapters 1413–1417)

The foreign Chaosverse suppresses Iyerre, prevents him from drawing upon even a sliver of its Dao power, and slows his spacetime travel to roughly native-Autarch speed. He calculates an eighty-two-day journey, but Ning deciphers and destroys the trap before he arrives. Iyerre then shifts from eliminating Ning to isolating and killing the Autarchs one by one. Grassland World

Iyerre deploys the Grassland World, Sourcewalker Autarchs, Exalts, and captured Autarch-class void dwellers. The world gives him mobile fortifications, violet-gold chains, layered clouds, and a controlled environment where native Dao power is suppressed. He promises the void dwellers freedom, then destroys their bodies and inserts their life-cores into black dolls to create three warbeasts, exposing every alliance as disposable once it has served its purpose. He links the three warbeasts to himself with a black-and-white formation. Even under native suppression, the combined system reaches roughly seventy percent of the Sword Titan's force, while Iyerre's superior insight lets him sustain the contest and tear apart the weaker Avatar Titan. The formation brings the cultivators close to defeat, but its warbeasts consume finite reserves and cannot survive Ning's breakthrough to the Oblivion Sword Dao. (Chapters 1442–1446)

Final return

Iyerre escapes to the Sithe Chaosverse and asks his master for another army. The Lord of Chaos refuses to spend further lives and energy on a campaign that has already lost its great war machines, but gives Iyerre the Stele of Mountains and Rivers as protection. Iyerre returns alone before Ning's Omega Autarchy can mature, believing one last intervention is his only remaining path to a Chaosverse. (Chapters 1446–1449)

Ning waits until Iyerre enters before binding the Chaosverse. As its new Lord, Ning stabilizes spacetime and suppresses the foreign Omega Autarch so completely that Iyerre cannot move a finger. He rejects the distant Sithe Chaoslord's plea and disintegrates Iyerre's body, soul, and truesoul, ending both the invasion and Iyerre's possibility of resurrection. (Chapters 1449–1450)

Appearance and personality

Iyerre is a tall, muscular, balding man who goes barefoot beneath loose gray robes. He often wears a warm, benevolent smile and his eyes exert an almost irresistible magnetism, a compassionate exterior sharply at odds with his willingness to sacrifice followers. He is patient, technically inventive, and capable of changing plans after failure, but his desire to become a Lord of Chaos reduces people to resources and makes withdrawal feel equivalent to surrendering his future. Abilities and cultivation

Iyerre is an Omega Autarch whose foundational path is the Dao of Light. Reaching the Daobirth level through an Omega Dao also gives him Eternal-Omega-level command of other Daos, producing insight above ordinary Autarchs even when the foreign environment denies him local power.

Omega Light Dao

Iyerre radiates dazzling light across vast areas and can hide his body within it while attacking from shifting positions. The light is both a domain and concealment medium: opponents must defend against him without a stable visual target. In the Grassland World he combines this property with chains and warbeasts to strike around a formation's weaker angles. (Chapters 1442–1446)

His Omega path also grants extraordinarily deep spacetime insight. He can open carefully controlled dimensional tunnels from afar and warp in ways native Autarchs struggle to predict. Environmental rejection is a major limit: within the invaded Chaosverse his travel is more than a hundred times slower than at home, and he cannot supplement technique with its Dao power. Karmic isolation

A strange energy prevents karma from touching Iyerre. This severs the connections native experts would otherwise use to detect, divine, or attack him, allowing his existence to remain hidden for aeons. The isolation does not make physical traces impossible; the tunnel used for his servitor still leaves a spatial ripple Autarch Mogg can follow. (Chapters 1378 and 1414)

Sithe engineering and war systems

The Annihilation Hive generates a vortex that draws energy from the Chaosverse, weakening the world while feeding the invasion. The Grassland World is a mobile fortress with nine cloud layers, violet-gold chains, suppression fields, and a core that powers its systems. Both take aeons and immense resources to create. Once their control structures are understood or damaged, Iyerre cannot replace them during the campaign. (Chapters 1400–1404 and 1430–1446)

The black warbeasts are equipment-derived bodies made by inserting Autarch-class life-cores into Sithe dolls. Iyerre's black-white formation links their energy and movement to his own, raising his effective force enough to contend with the Sword Titan. Their reserves are finite, and when one fails the linked formation loses the power that compensates for foreign suppression. (Chapters 1440–1446)

Foreign-Chaosverse limitations

Although Iyerre's insight exceeds ordinary Autarchs, the invaded Chaosverse treats him as foreign and rejects his Dao. He must rely on personal reserves, servants, and artifacts, while native Autarchs can draw on their world's support. This is why his plans focus on weakening the world before attempting to bind it. Once Ning becomes its Lord, authority over the entire Chaosverse creates a gap that technique and the Stele cannot bridge. (Chapters 1407, 1414, 1442, and 1449–1450)
