Immortal Witchsui is a young Loose Immortal of Celestial Immortal Witchriver's lineage who first fights for freedom from an Immortal estate and later helps protect the Ji clan.

Biography

A young leader in a sealed estate

Immortal Witchsui is the leader of the Witchriver clan descended from Celestial Immortal Witchriver. Although he is only about ten thousand years old—young beside Immortal Duohe's age of more than one hundred thousand years—he has already become one of the two strongest Loose Immortals among the monsters confined within the Witchriver Immortal Estate. His position combines personal cultivation with responsibility for a clan that has spent generations trapped inside a dead Celestial Immortal's estate-world. (Chapter 266)

The arrival of Youngflame Nong's expedition threatens the surviving clans but also offers the possibility of escape. Witchsui and Duohe set aside the divisions among the estate's monsters and swear a Heavenly Dao oath of alliance. Their goal is not conquest outside the estate; it is to keep the invaders from binding the remaining palaces long enough to bargain for a route into the Grand Xia. Witchsui takes command of the Yaksha Dao-soldier formation while Duohe commands the Seawave formation, giving the coalition two organized forces capable of pooling the strength of many clan members. Bargaining for freedom

Witchsui helps guard the final unbound palaces and supports a proposed exchange: the monsters will allow the expedition to continue if Youngflame opens a corridor through the estate's defenses and lets them leave. The arrangement would turn the estate's last leverage into collective freedom. Youngflame instead uses a rare temporal teleportation treasure to bypass the coalition, destroying their negotiating position. Witchsui and the other leaders realize that, if Youngflame binds the core, he may gain control over the estate and all the monsters still inside it. Their confidence gives way to despair because their formations can fight an army, but they cannot undo control of the estate itself. (Chapters 269–272)

Ji Ning eventually obtains the key to the estate. Rather than repeat Youngflame's attempt to enslave its inhabitants, Ning opens a path into the wider world and proposes a limited compact. Witchsui, Duohe, and their followers will be free, but the two Loose Immortals must guard the Ji clan's City of Ten Thousand Swords for one thousand years. Witchsui accepts because a finite service debt is fundamentally different from permanent imprisonment. He and Duohe are also honest about the bargain's limit: neither can stop a true Celestial Immortal, so Ning should not mistake their presence for absolute security. (Chapter 280)

A new home at Swallow Mountain

The estate's inhabitants emerge and settle around Swallow Mountain, transforming Ning's local homeland into their refuge. Witchsui later receives Ning after the Conclave of Immortal Destiny and praises his victory, recognizing that a young champion of that caliber would naturally attract a powerful master. Their former battlefield relationship has by then become one of host and honored rescuer. (Chapters 286 and 394)

Defending the Ji clan

When Ning prepares to leave Swallow Mountain again, he entrusts the Ji clan's safety to Witchsui and Duohe. Witchsui does not treat the duty as a merely transactional remnant of the original thousand-year compact. He cites Ning's rescue of the trapped clans and declares that the former estate inhabitants and the Ji clan will prosper or perish together. The statement completes his transition from the proud defender of a sealed clan to a protector invested in a shared home outside it. (Chapter 395)

Appearance and personality

Loose Immortal cultivation

Witchsui is a Loose Immortal Diremonster. A Loose Immortal survives after losing the normal path to Celestial Immortality by maintaining an Immortal existence under recurring tribulations; age therefore brings both accumulated power and repeated danger. Witchsui's achievement is notable because, despite being far younger than Duohe, he has already reached comparable standing as one of the estate's two dominant experts. This makes him vastly stronger than ordinary monsters without elevating him to the level of a true Celestial Immortal. (Chapter 266)

Yaksha Dao-soldier formation

Witchsui commands the Yaksha Dao-soldier formation formed by the Witchriver clansmen. Dao-soldier formations do not make each participant fight independently. They align and combine the energies of many soldiers, then place the accumulated force under a central commander who manifests and directs a larger battle-form. Leadership and estate knowledge

Witchsui's most consequential capability is organizational. As clan leader he can commit Witchriver's fighters to the Heavenly Dao oath, coordinate with Duohe's separate Seawave formation, and speak for his people in negotiations over their freedom. His knowledge of the estate lets him understand the importance of the unbound palaces and the danger of allowing an outsider to control its core. These are not supernatural techniques, but they are why his personal power becomes a collective defense rather than an isolated feat. (Chapters 266–272)

• Ji Ning: Witchsui first opposes the expedition Ning accompanies, then accepts a finite guarding compact when Ning gives the monsters freedom. Gratitude turns that debt into a lasting commitment to the Ji clan.
• Immortal Duohe: The older Loose Immortal is Witchsui's co-leader. They swear an alliance, command separate Dao-soldier formations, negotiate together, and later share responsibility for Swallow Mountain.
