All-Cutting Sword

The All-Cutting Sword is one of Liam's two specialized late-story weapons. Unlike the System Sword that reproduces observed techniques, this blade is defined by its ability to penetrate materials, magical defenses, and fortified structures that ordinary weapons cannot breach.

History

Liam's Alterian blade

Liam receives and retains the sword while preparing for the return to Alterian. He carries it alongside the separate attack-copying weapon, applying its direct cutting property when analysis or copied techniques are insufficient. During the Noble Land assault it helps him pass weakened reflective defenses and destroy a mobile tower's core, making it a practical answer to the Grand Magus's fortified war machinery. Liam continues to wield the sword through the confrontation with Idore and the closing battles. The supplied corpus leaves it in his possession after the Grand Magus's regime falls. (Chapters 1754–1761)

Abilities and properties

• Cuts exceptional materials, defensive magic, and large structures when its edge reaches them. (Chapters 1692–1724)
• Its property does not prevent an energy-bodied target from reforming after being severed. (Chapters 1607–1608)
• It is a distinct weapon from the System Sword and does not copy techniques. (Chapters 1272 and 1607)
