Tod

Tod is a Dark Faction Academy assessor involved in evaluating new students. His judgments and administrative habits affect Raze's early standing more than any demonstrated martial ability.

Biography

Assessing the new students

Tod watches Raze collide with another student and openly defy the teacher who intervenes. Shocked by the behavior, he marks several Xs in his assessment book, beginning an unfavorable evaluation that continues when Raze spends the training month using only basic fists and running rather than displaying an established clan art. Tod later receives leave letters without probing deeply, and the academy's slow response helps delay recognition that several students have gone elsewhere. He remains present when Raze eventually departs and is last confirmed alive; no later posting is supplied. (Chapters 129–250)

Appearance and personality

The corpus gives no dependable physical description for Tod. He is easily offended by disrespect toward academy authority and applies his evaluation criteria conventionally. His handling of leave paperwork is comparatively indifferent, suggesting a bureaucratic or inattentive streak rather than active malice.

Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Tod works in a martial academy, but the supplied chapters do not show him fighting, using Qi, casting magic, or naming a cultivation stage. His established skills are assessment and student administration; any more specific power would be speculation.
