Garlon is a Deleter who operates as Heino’s near-constant aide and possesses the exceptionally rare ability to use Space magic.

Heino’s aide

Garlon helps Heino assess prospective Deleters and later reports on conditions across Pagna’s factions. He obeys an order to support the Light Faction’s seizure of the empire even though the assignment visibly concerns him. Records identify him as Heino’s right-hand man and a Space-magic user, making him one of the principal threats in Alter’s later deployment. (Chapters 851, 1067–1134)

The battlefield and death

On the battlefield, Garlon attacks at range with nearly invisible spatial force, testing Safa, Liam, and Simyon before fighting Dame. He combines Space and wind magic, activates a breakthrough that disperses his body through distorted air, and expects Alter’s future-seeing artifact to guarantee survival. Safa locates his magic, however, and Dame’s cursed gauntlets grip the dispersed form; Dame tears it apart and leaves Garlon decapitated. (Chapters 1141–1152)

Appearance and personality

The supplied chapters do not provide a stable physical description. Garlon is dutiful, analytical, and confident in both his own power and Alter’s prediction, though his private concern over Heino’s orders shows that this confidence is not absolute.

Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Garlon is an Alterian mage with rare, apparently non-natural Space magic and complementary wind magic. He contracts and expands localized space to produce invisible cuts, impacts, and defensive distortion, while wind from his soles gives him speed comparable to a talented middle-stage warrior. His breakthrough makes his body diffuse and difficult to touch and enables a large multi-point Expansion attack. The state is temporary, can be tracked by Safa’s God Eyes, and is countered by Dame’s gauntlets, which can grip otherwise intangible phenomena.

Relationships

Garlon serves Heino as aide and right-hand man. His final conflict is with Dame, whose grief over fallen allies turns the fight into retaliation, while Safa supplies the targeting information that makes Garlon vulnerable.

Items

Garlon explicitly says he is the only Deleter who does not rely on an artifact in combat. Alter’s prediction artifact informs his expectations but is not shown in his custody.
