Diana
Diana is Wilton Academy’s head nurse and the healer who recognizes and develops Safa's unusual aptitude for Light magic.
Biography
The Wilton infirmary
Overworked and initially alone in a crowded infirmary, Diana treats damaged limbs with mana circles and enchanted blankets while managing prescriptions for injured students. She explains that she declined an easier Central Academy position because Wilton’s students needed help more urgently. When Safa demonstrates Light magic, Diana sees both exceptional raw power and poor refinement, accepts her help, and begins guiding her as a healer. (Chapters 1312–1313)
Safa’s training and the external expedition
Diana keeps Safa’s rapid rise to five-star magic quiet because her foundations remain unstable and because wider attention could take the student out of her care. She teaches practical healing limits, including why residual lightning mana can obstruct treatment, and later joins the off-world expedition. Captured with the group, she cautiously complies with demands to heal Luka, recovers, and is ready to protect the survivors beside the other teachers. (Chapters 1318, 1328, 1341–1364)
Appearance and personality
Diana is a woman in her thirties with round glasses and long brown hair tied in a loose ponytail. Her decision to serve Wilton, discretion over Safa’s growth, and steady conduct under captivity characterize her as practical, protective, and more concerned with patients than prestige.
Magic, cultivation, and abilities
Diana uses Light magic for medical work. She can operate healing formations, treat severe physical damage, and assess another healer’s mana and refinement. Her treatment is not absolute: hostile mana remaining in a wound can prevent immediate repair, and both mana depletion and mental exhaustion require recovery. She also understands storage-orb mechanics, but the orb she explains belongs to Safa rather than to her.
Relationships
Diana becomes Safa’s medical mentor and shields her premature advancement from institutional attention. She works alongside Redrick and the other Wilton teachers during the expedition and treats Luka when their captors order it.
Items
No named personal item is securely assigned to Diana. The infirmary’s healing blankets and mana-circle equipment are workplace resources, while the magic-storage orb she explains is Safa’s possession.
