Book of Eternal Night

History

Akura Malice creates the Book as the ideal shadow Path she would have followed from Lowgold to Archlord, then bonds it to Mercy. Each page carries a technique and controlled access to a higher stage. Mercy's bargain locks most of that power until Malice restores it, and later Mercy must absorb the Book's will without surrendering her own identity. (Chapters 95, 120–121, 125, 129, 148–171, 197, 211, 230, 241, 243, 246, 251, 257, 269–270)

Properties and use

The seven pages encode a complete shadow Path and can temporarily unseal power above Mercy's current advancement. Forced access damages her channels, while later pages carry increasingly heavy spiritual pressure. The Book is a bonded Divine Treasure rather than a speaking companion; its inherited will reflects Malice's design but does not make it a separate character. (Chapters 95, 120–121, 125, 129, 148–171, 197, 211, 230, 241, 243, 246, 251, 257, 269–270)
