Books 9–12

Shen lures it toward Subject One, then it awakens fully. The governing motive is to feed on hunger and blood. Acting on that priority, the character spreads Blood Shadows; attempts to absorb Redmoon Hall; fights final coalition. The resulting choices connect the character to the phase's central relationships and pressures, including yerin; Lindon coalition. (Chapters 185, 237, 269–275)

Colossal bird formed from liquid blood and hunger madra, shedding eggs/fragments and controlling infected hosts.
