Akura Pride

Biography
Books 9–12
Recovers physically but bears emotional wounds. The governing motive is to protect Mercy and uphold family duty. Acting on that priority, the character supports judgment of Daji; visits Lindon; stands between Lindon and unconscious Mercy; later ascends. The resulting choices connect the character to the phase's central relationships and pressures, including trauma and distrust. (Chapters 173–174, 223, 243, 281)
Appearance and personality
Short, compact young man; projects rigid pride and formality. Resents Lindon's position near Mercy but gradually recognizes his competence and depends on him in battle. Compact and muscular with purple eyes; proud, brusque, protective, and emotionally guarded.
