The Spiritual Recovery Purple Pill is the tier-six restorative pill Xiao Yan promises Hai Bodong after helping break Medusa's seal. The unfulfilled promise remains part of their alliance through Xiao Yan's exile; after he finds the ingredients in Han Feng's collection, he refines and delivers the pill, allowing Hai Bodong's damaged strength to recover rapidly toward its former peak. A debt attached to Hai Bodong's recovery

The Spiritual Recovery Purple Pill is distinct from the Breaking Adversity Pill used to remove the seal on Hai Bodong. Breaking the seal restores access to cultivation, but does not immediately return all strength lost over years of suppression. Xiao Yan therefore agrees to provide the higher-tier restorative pill as part of the compensation for Hai Bodong's assistance and as a means of completing the recovery toward his former Dou Huang peak. The obligation persists because Xiao Yan initially lacks both the refining ability and all required ingredients. Hai Bodong continues to help him during the desert and Misty Cloud conflicts, while the promised pill becomes a concrete debt Xiao Yan repeatedly remembers rather than a payment already made. Refinement from Han Feng's collection

After defeating Han Feng, Xiao Yan finds a complete set of the necessary ingredients among the alchemist's possessions. By then his skill and merged Heavenly Flame allow him to attempt a lower-end tier-six refinement himself. He uses the crimson Ten Thousand Beast Cauldron, which remains cool outside under extreme heat and contains the energy ripple and fragrance produced as the purple pill forms. The cauldron assists; Xiao Yan is the refiner responsible for the finished medicine. (Chapter 654)

The successful pill is round, pale purple, and gem-like, with a rich fragrance. Xiao Yan regards its completion as proof that he can refine at tier six and, more personally, as the fulfillment of a promise carried since the Tager Desert.
