Di-Tier Embryonic Pill

The Di-Tier Embryonic Pill, also called the Embryonic Di Pill, is a sentient medicinal being hidden in Tuo She Ancient God's mansion. It speaks, remembers, chooses, fights in a humanoid form, and resists those who try to refine it. The pill becomes the involuntary basis of Hun Tiandi's Dou Di ascent only after the Tuo She Ancient God Jade restrains it and Hun Tiandi captures and forcibly merges with it. History

A sentient being inside the mansion

Xiao Xuan identifies the embryonic pill as Hun Tiandi's true target and explains that it contains a trace of the Origin, or Essence Di Qi, absent from the modern continent. That energy makes the being potentially useful to a peak Dou Sheng attempting to cross the Dou Di barrier. The pill is incomplete rather than inert: Tuo She Ancient God completed the most important embryonic stage but did not finish the final pill-forming process. (Chapters 1596–1597 and 1636)

When the mansion opens, the pill appears as an elderly man resembling Tuo She Ancient God. It remembers helping the Nihility Devouring Flame and the former Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame escape restraints and accuses them of breaking a promise to rescue it. It rejects the Nihility Devouring Flame's invitation because it recognizes that the visitors intend to take and refine its true form. This exchange establishes independent memory, judgment, and refusal. (Chapters 1630–1632)

Resistance and battle

Hun Tiandi attacks first, after which Gu Yuan and Zhu Kun also try to subdue the pill so that Hun Tiandi cannot capture it. The being resists all four peak experts at once. It cuts apart an energy tide, blocks successive attacks, releases pill fragrance that agitates the Dou Qi of those nearby, and uses Di Pill Palm to ignite the realm's energy before striking the four attackers into enormous gullies. Its statement that none of them is sufficient to refine it is an assertion of self-defense, not a dispute among possible owners. (Chapters 1632–1633)

The Nihility Devouring Flame then activates the assembled Tuo She Ancient God Jade as the Transforming Pill Ring. The ring's light restrains the pill, produces smoke from its body, and forces its humanoid form to shrink toward a concentrated medicinal state. The pill recognizes the method and cries out while resisting, but the ring overwhelms that resistance. Hun Tiandi seizes the ring containing the captive being and retreats with it. (Chapter 1633)

Forced merger and consumption

Hun Tiandi hides the Hun realm and begins forcibly refining the captive pill. Within roughly a month he achieves an initial merger, then treats the Central Plains as a cauldron and living beings as ingredients to complete the pill-forming step around his own body. The Devouring Spirit Eliminating Life Formation extracts blood and energy on a continental scale to sustain this process. The pill's remaining Origin Qi and medicinal energy are thus incorporated through capture and mass sacrifice, not voluntarily offered. (Chapters 1634–1636)

Hun Tiandi eventually completes the transformation and emerges as a Dou Di. The text thereafter attributes the advancement to his merger with and completion of the embryonic pill. No separate, surviving pill-being is shown after that forced consumption; its final documented state is loss of independent embodiment within Hun Tiandi's ascent. (Chapters 1637–1641 and 1645)

Abilities and properties

• Sentience and memory: The pill speaks, recalls earlier agreements, recognizes the Nihility Devouring Flame and Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame, evaluates motives, refuses capture, and defends itself. Its medicinal origin does not negate its demonstrated person-like agency. (Chapters 1630–1633)
• Origin Qi: It contains a trace of the energy required for a peak Dou Sheng to cross the Dou Di barrier. Possessing that energy offers a chance rather than an automatic breakthrough, which is why Hun Tiandi pursues a more complete final refinement. (Chapters 1596–1597, 1635–1636, and 1640–1641)
• Peak combat power: In humanoid form it can contend simultaneously with Hun Tiandi, the Nihility Devouring Flame, Gu Yuan, and Zhu Kun. Its Di Pill Palm manipulates and ignites environmental energy into an extermination-scale attack. (Chapters 1632–1633)
• Pill fragrance: Its released fragrance can cause nearby Dou Qi to become violent or begin to ignite. The effect can be mitigated by ceasing to inhale it, as Xiao Yan warns the observers. (Chapter 1633)
• Incomplete state: Tuo She Ancient God formed the embryonic pill but left the last pill-forming step unfinished. Hun Tiandi's method completes that step by merging himself with the captive pill and supplying immense stolen energy, magnifying the chance of a Dou Di breakthrough. (Chapters 1635–1636)
• Specific vulnerability to the Transforming Pill Ring: Ordinary combined force fails to subdue it quickly, but the ancient jade's specialized ring constricts its humanoid manifestation and forces it toward pill form. This is a restraint and capture mechanism, not evidence of consent or rightful authority. (Chapter 1633)
