Fa Ma

Fa Ma is the longtime chairman of the Jia Ma Empire Alchemist Association and one of the empire's senior alchemists. He first encounters Xiao Yan as the disguised competitor Yan Xiao, protects the Grand Meeting from Yan Li's scheme, and later brings the association into the Yan Alliance. His caution sometimes delays commitment, but his decisions consistently place the survival and long-term development of the empire's alchemical institution above his personal authority.

The Capital Contest and the Three-Year Duel
