Core-Concealment Bracelet
The Core-Concealment Bracelet is a golden artifact Anastasia gives Atticus to hide the mana core he awakened at an exceptionally young age. Its importance lies in protection through secrecy: it helps keep his precocious development from becoming public information before the family is ready to defend it.
History
Anastasia's protective gift
Anastasia provides the bracelet after recognizing that Atticus's early awakening would attract dangerous scrutiny. He receives and wears it as part of her broader effort to preserve some control over how and when his talent becomes known. The corpus does not record a later transfer, destruction, or confirmed disposal, so its fate after its early use remains unstated. (Chapters 8 and 26)
Abilities and properties
- Conceals the presence of Atticus's mana core from ordinary observation, allowing his awakening to remain hidden. (Chapter 8)
- Functions as a protective concealment measure rather than a combat amplifier; the source does not establish offensive effects, stored energy, or enhancement of the core itself. (Chapters 8 and 26)
- Its limits against exceptionally strong perception or later power systems are not tested on page and should remain unknown. (Chapters 8 and 26)
