Yorowin

Yorowin is a Vampyros Grand Elder whose centuries of survival and blood mastery anchor the invasion of Fort Echohelm. Atticus repeatedly inflicts lethal wounds without making them permanent, turning Yorowin into the first major proof of the race's extreme regeneration.

Biography

Invasion and the unending duel

Yorowin receives reports with quiet, freezing menace and moves against the human border after the infiltration network prepares the way. At Echohelm he locks blood and bodies under crushing control, sacrifices blood shadows and living creatures into crimson mist, and turns the entire forest into his chosen battlefield. Atticus enters anyway, nullifying droplets that should destroy life and forcing Yorowin into direct combat. (Chapters 883–922)

Atticus splits Yorowin, punches, kicks, and cuts him into pieces, but the Grand Elder reforms through blood and reappears elsewhere almost immediately. Yorowin's speed and regeneration prolong the duel until Jezeneth and additional Vampyros elders widen the battle. The source later cites his ability to regenerate from a single drop, but does not give a confirmed death, leaving his postwar fate unresolved. (Chapters 929–937, 1105)

Appearance and personality

Yorowin has glowing crimson eyes, carries a cane, and projects frost and bloodlust through an otherwise still posture. He is quiet, patient, authoritative, survival-focused, and accustomed to reverence from subordinates who willingly die for his power.

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

Yorowin controls his own blood and that of others, immobilizes bodies, converts devoted followers and creatures into blood mist, shapes scythes from blood armor, and regenerates from catastrophic dismemberment or a remaining drop. Atticus's Auralithian-derived body can erase inhaled droplets, while superior pressure can still inflict pain and repeatedly disrupt him. The ultimate exhaustion or destruction threshold is not shown. (Chapters 922–929, 1105)
