Viviana Ossara

Viviana Ossara is the brutal queen of the bone race, Mortrex's wife, and Spineus's older sister. Her outward gentleness conceals an instinct for overwhelming violence, while marriage is the one relationship capable of interrupting her attacks.

Biography

Family grievance and restrained intervention

Viviana responds to failure with bone spikes and cold judgment, remaining expressionless even when another authority blocks her power hard enough to draw blood from her nose. Although she abandoned her father's cause after falling for Mortrex, she still maneuvers Vertebrea into sending Spineus after Atticus, allowing family loyalty to pull her back toward Ossara grievance. (Chapters 457–479)

When Atticus massacres Spineus's force, Viviana covers herself in white bone material, forms a platform, and charges at supersonic speed with murderous intent. Mortrex takes precise control of her bones, freezes her in midair, and removes her before Atticus notices. She survives, but her intervention fails and leaves Mortrex trapped between protecting his wife, her brother, and the enemy they provoked. (Chapters 490–508)

Appearance and personality

Viviana has white hair and a gentle-looking face that belies her reputation. She is cold, expressionless, brutal, loyal to her brother, and awkwardly affectionate with Mortrex, whose touch can visibly crack her impassive facade.

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

Viviana controls bone, producing spikes, a bone platform, and a white viscous armor that streams from her chest to cover her body. The armor supports supersonic movement. Mortrex can halt her by precisely controlling her bones, demonstrating a direct counter rooted in superior or intimate command of the same physical system.
