Raziel Voss

Raziel Voss is a Solvath fragment bearer whose gravity-based will and opportunistic cruelty make him a recurring higher-plane rival. He survives ordinary defeat through external restoration, but that continued presence progressively strips away the independence that first made him dangerous.

Biography

Fragment bearer and territorial rival

Raziel captures a territory before Atticus can reach its objective, then reveals himself as a seven-foot staff wielder carrying Solvath's aura. He tries to weaponize Atticus's attachments by ordering an attack on Magnus, only for the world's rules to freeze him for targeting another god's champion. Forced into a direct god-to-god battle, he uses gravity and defensive will against Atticus's weightless sword attacks, establishing himself as a cunning opponent rather than a simple brute. (Chapters 1467–1470)

As a Marquis, Raziel later maneuvers through the board contest toward Anorah, expecting tactics to compensate for weaker raw will. Anorah immediately tears off his arm and pressures him, but his willingness to exploit the rules keeps him dangerous. Atticus eventually kills him, after which the Aspect King's power restores Raziel and the other Marquis with unnatural purple eyes, turning repeated survival into externally maintained captivity. (Chapters 1551, 1569, 1576)

Raziel appears again at the front of thousands of fragment bearers Atticus has killed. This late manifestation does not establish that the original man recovered independent life or agency; it presents his image and power as part of Solvath's accumulated confrontation. His latest state is therefore better understood as a posthumous or externally sustained presence rather than ordinary survival. (Chapter 1757)

Appearance and personality

Raziel stands about seven feet tall with a broad, imposing physique and carries a long staff across his neck. He is calm, smiling, profane, manipulative, and delighted by pressure, treating loved ones as weaknesses to exploit.

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

Raziel's will manipulates weight and gravity. Demonstrated applications include making the air heavy, forcing targets downward, invoking Absolute Weight, and forming an Immovable Wall barrier. Atticus counters by using weightless slashes and conceptual control; world rules also immobilize Raziel when he attacks another god's champion. His later revival and fragment-bearer appearance originate externally and are not self-resurrection techniques. (Chapters 1468–1470, 1576, 1757)
