Malora

Malora is a recurring figure whose decisions clarify the loyalties and power structures surrounding the central conflict.

Biography

A sadistic assault ends at Raven Camp

Malora joins the Obsidian strike on Raven Camp and delights in prolonging the trainees' fear, threatening to kill Atticus while Ember and Aurora resist her despite severe wounds. Her cruelty is tactical as well as personal, helping occupy defenders while the Order targets the escaping youths. The plan fails, and Alvis later finds Malora's corpse among the attackers killed during the counterattack. (Chapters 106–117)

Appearance and personality

She is a woman whose eerie glee, face-touching, laughter, and rapidly darkening expressions mark unstable sadism. Secure hair, eye, and clothing details are not established. (Chapters 106–107)

Abilities, bloodlines, and will

Malora is explicitly Grandmaster rank and uses overwhelming mana-enhanced force against multiple Raven Camp trainees. The source does not securely isolate her element, bloodline, or named technique from the broader battle. Her rank lets her dominate exhausted youths but does not protect her from the stronger counterattacker who kills her off the central viewpoint. (Chapters 106–117)

Relationships

Astrion and Vorlock are fellow Obsidian attackers; Ember and Aurora resist her attempt to kill Atticus.
