Hatred compromises a guard's judgment

Lucienta serves Spineus with formal devotion and brings him intelligence, but her hatred of humans makes Atticus's disguised presence immediately intolerable. She joins Luther in confronting him and activates an alarm when their attack fails. Atticus brutally embeds her in a wall, after which she kneels before Spineus; the episode shows loyalty and prejudice producing action without the strength to control its consequence.
