Lirae enters the Nexus as a centuries-old Vampyros Apex with open malice and a vibrating blood-red lance. Later wars reduce the Apex ranks and reshape her loyalties; by the higher-plane crisis she spars with Maera, answers Atticus's scrutiny, and remains among the three surviving Apexes he trusts.
